Formakote is the board, not the fastener. Avery lists the material as Formakote and states each file is fitted with a Tubeclip. Our own listing had it backwards - it called Formakote an integrated fastener and said the file needed no Tubeclip, which is the opposite of what Avery publishes.
Avery's own line on the expansion is that it makes the file ideal for storing even the heaviest of documents. That is their wording, and it is as far as they go - there is no load rating behind it.
A correction. Our own listing for this code claimed that Formakote is a fastener, that it needs no Tubeclip, that Formakote is a finish rather than the board and that it is sold as a single item. Avery publishes none of it, so it has been removed.
Avery publishes no sheet count beyond the expansion figure and no load rating. Where they are silent, so are we.
What these are for. Shelf and lateral filing, and Avery's published claim for the board is a durable filing system that lasts longer even with the most frequent use of your files.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
