This Food Was Prepared With Your Allergy In Mind Allergy Advisory Labels
A pre-printed sticker that reads “This Food Was Prepared with Your Allergy in Mind”. Avery's own line is that it clearly identifies which food items are safe to eat for people with allergy concerns.
Somebody has to fill it in. The label carries a pre-printed selection - Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Egg Free, Seafood Free and Peanut Free, plus a blank space - and Avery's instruction is that workers tick off the allergies that apply to the food being prepared. It arrives blank of any decision. What it communicates is whatever the person holding the pen marks on it.
What this label does not do. It is printed paper. It does not test food, it does not verify what is in a dish, and it does not make a kitchen compliant with anything. Avery publishes no allergen testing or verification claim for it, no HACCP claim and no certification by any body, and neither do we. What goes on the label is decided by whoever applies it, and the accuracy of that decision is the kitchen's, not the label's.
Is it safe against the food itself? Avery's answer, on their Food Safety Labels FAQ rather than on the product page, is no: their food safety labels are not intended for direct food contact and are designed to be applied to the outside of containers, packaging or storage surfaces, which keeps the label adhesive and ink away from the food itself.
Avery publishes a temperature range of -5°C to 60°C and calls the range safe for refrigeration. That covers a fridge and a commercial cool room. It is not a freezer rating, because -5 does not reach freezer temperature.
Avery publishes nothing about testing or verifying an allergen, no adhesive residue claim, no shelf life for the label stock itself, no waterproof, oil or moisture resistance and no dishwasher instruction for this code. Where they are silent, so are we.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact Mega Office Supplies as soon as possible. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, a repair, replacement, or refund will be offered. In these cases, Mega Office Supplies will cover reasonable return shipping costs, and photographic evidence may be requested to help process the claim. Items should be reported within a reasonable timeframe after delivery.
