Avery describes a self adhesive base that sticks to the file, a plastic compressor bar that sits on top of the pages, and a plastic U piece that inserts into the compressor bar to hold the documents. Pages can be added or removed at any position in the file.

Avery publishes a thickness, not a sheet count. It states the Tubeclip expands as the file fills and holds up to 90mm of paper. How many sheets that is depends on your paper weight.
