Size 1 is the smallest of Avery's 8 buff shipping tag sizes, at 70 x 35mm, so it suits a reference number, a name and a short instruction rather than a full address. The board is manilla with a smooth writing surface on both sides, the hole is reinforced for durability, and the tags come in bundles of 4 lightly joined tags that separate easily. No string or wire is in the box.

Avery states the hole is reinforced and its description says reinforced eyelets, but it does not publish the eyelet material. The product photo shows a pale ring around the hole, not a brass eyelet, so if a metal eyelet matters for your job, choose a tag that states one.
