Activity Book 3 gives children with little or no reading experience printed practice that follows lessons 21 to 30 of the ABC Reading Eggs program.

Written by Katy Pike for the Starting Out stage, the book backs up each of its 10 online lessons with pencil and paper tasks. Children work on recognising alphabet letters, forming letters correctly and hearing the sounds they make. Activities also cover phonics, matching pictures to sounds, handwriting practice, and reading and writing simple words and sentences.

Pairing screen lessons with written work helps letter shapes and sounds stick, because children see, hear and write each one. The activities give early learners a calm offline task, and parents can see at a glance which skills have been practised.

Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier.
