ABC Mathseeds Maths Skills Kindergarten Workbook
A full-colour Kindergarten maths workbook with 50 step-by-step lessons covering 200 essential skills.
Part of the ABC Mathseeds program, this book by Sara Leman builds skills in number, counting, patterns, addition, subtraction, geometry, measurement and data. Lessons are designed around about 15 minutes of practice a day, which keeps maths manageable for young learners. The publisher reports that children using ABC Mathseeds become more excited by maths and gain a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
Each lesson has four worksheets, so children practise every new skill in several different ways before moving on. Ten quizzes review earlier lessons and reward progress, a year planner keeps the work on track and a completion certificate celebrates the finish.
The Year 1 title continues the same lesson format. Families and teachers can also find more educational books, maths activity books and educational supplies for the classroom and home.
