Load A Stack, Press Start And Come Back To Finished Sheets

The GBC Foton 30 is an automated desktop laminator that feeds, laminates and trims up to 30 sheets at a time from a film cartridge, with no pouches to load.

Pouch laminating means standing at the machine, lining up each sheet and trimming the edges afterwards. The Foton 30 takes that work away. ACCO say the integrated 30 page feeder keeps documents straight as they enter, sensors find the leading and trailing edge for trimming, and a light warns when the film is low or empty. Three modes cover the jobs a feeder cannot: auto feed with auto trim, manual feed with auto trim, and manual feed with manual trim.

ACCO list paper sizes from 125 x 153mm up to 297 x 420mm, which is A3, with the auto feed taking 65 to 120gsm paper. Heavier stock and odd shaped items go through by hand in manual mode, which the ACCO datasheet rates up to 250gsm. The same datasheet gives film thickness as 75 to 125 micron, a 4 roller system, a warm up of 3 to 4 minutes, speeds of 650 to 700mm per minute and auto switch off after 15 minutes. Warranty is 2 years, per ACCO.

No. The Foton 30 runs on GBC Foton 30 film cartridges. We list 75 micron and 125 micron cartridges, codes AA4410023 and AA4410025.
We also list reloadable film refills for the Foton 30, AA4410026 in 75 micron and AA4410028 in 125 micron.
The auto feed is listed by ACCO for 65 to 120gsm paper. Heavier items go through by hand in manual mode, which the ACCO datasheet rates up to 250gsm.
No. The ACCO datasheet lists cold lamination as not available.
The ACCO datasheet gives 577mm wide, 478mm deep and 245mm high, and a weight of 9.5kg, so plan for a solid bench or desk.
ACCO list documents up to 297 x 420mm, which is A3. The datasheet describes the feeder as taking up to 30 A4 documents, and does not give a separate A3 feeder figure.
