Protective Hard Hats

Every shell carries a moulded date of manufacture, and the service life runs from that date rather than from the day it is first worn, so a helmet that has sat in a store cupboard for years may already be spent. Vented shells are cooler outdoors but are not suitable near live electrical work. Harness adjustment decides whether it stays put when someone looks down. See hi vis vests and protective gear.
