Measure first and order early. Furniture carries the longest lead time of anything in a fit-out, so a size error found on delivery day stalls the whole move rather than one desk. Check door and lift access as well as the floor space. Decide power and cable routes at the same time, since retrofitting through a finished desk is the costly part.
