The value in standardising on one system is that the punch spacing, the ring size and the divider tabs all agree, which is exactly what fails when filing is bought piecemeal from three places. Decide the binder mechanism first and let the accessories follow it. Ring capacity should allow room to grow, since a full binder tears pages at the punch holes.
