White cloth tape for clean spines and light coloured covers

White fabric tape, 48mm by 25 metres, for binding pale covers and repairs that should blend in.

White X-Press It Cloth Tape gives a crisp finish on light coloured books, folders and handmade journals. The label lists it as heavy duty and reinforced, ideal for bookbinding and suited to repair work, with a fine weave fabric that tears by hand. White also takes a marker or pen label more readily than darker colours, which is useful on the spine of a folder.

A white strip disappears into pale card and paper covers rather than drawing the eye. You can write a title on the spine once the tape is down. According to its label the roll is water resistant, and the adhesive is described there as strong hold.

White cloth tape is part of our tapes collection. For journals and pads that need a neat spine, see visual art diaries and art pads, or visit educational supplies for classroom book care.

The white surface takes a marker for spine titles. Test your pen on a scrap first, as ink behaves differently on fabric than on paper.
Yes, white contrasts strongly with dark covers. For a hidden repair on a dark book, the black roll in this range is the better match.
The label wording is identical across the colours, including heavy duty, reinforced and strong hold adhesive.
