The wider Aqua Long Flat at size 1 and a half

Size 1 and a half is the wider of the two X-Press It Aqua Long Flat brushes, giving a broader square edge for large washes and backgrounds.

The listing photo shows the shared Aqua Long Flat design: a white bristle long flat head, black ferrule, gold metallic band and a black gloss handle with AQUA LF printed in gold. The price list names this size 1&1/2, so it steps up from the size 1 and suits bigger panels, canvases and sheets.

A broader head lays a wide, even band of colour in a single stroke, cutting the number of passes on large backgrounds. The long flat bristle holds plenty of liquid for glazes, and the square tip still delivers crisp edges.

Use the size 1 for narrower bands and keep this wider brush for skies, seas and large grounds. See more craft paint brushes, canvas and paper, mediums and acrylic paints.
