Targeting Handwriting Preschool Workbook

A preschool handwriting workbook that builds the basic movements children need before they start forming letters.

Written by Susan Young, this preschool handwriting book introduces the basic movements of handwriting, which are the building blocks for writing letters. The movements lay the foundation for the Queensland Beginners Script. Chapters move from the mechanics of handwriting to left to right movement, straight lines, anticlockwise and clockwise movement and formal fluency patterns.

A review chapter brings the skills together, and a certificate at the end gives young writers something to celebrate. The publisher intends the book to supplement the Teachers' Prep Handwriting Program, so it fits naturally into early childhood settings and home practice.

The paperback measures 300 x 220 mm. Alongside it, browse more educational books, writing supplies suited to young children and educational activity books that help children get ready for their first year of school.
