A Large Red Pad For Rubber Message Stamps

Shiny 9SP-3F-2 is the red member of the Shiny felt pad family, in the large 110 x 70 mm size, from the Shiny range Staedtler distribute in Australia.

Rubber message stamps such as PAID, RECEIVED or URGENT, and die-plate daters set to a message, print from a separate pad. A red pad turns those impressions red so they stand out from black text on invoices, delivery dockets and incoming mail.

Per the Staedtler catalogue, the pad takes normal as well as oil based ink. To revive the red felt, add red Shiny supreme ink 9S62 sparingly and let it soak in. Keep the lid closed when the pad is not in use.

The 110 x 70 mm size gives room for wider stamps. Staedtler do not state whether that figure is the felt or the case, so allow a margin around your stamp face.
