The Staedtler Mars Technico 788 C is a student-quality 2mm leadholder, providing a comfortable metal-barrelled instrument that accepts standard 2mm graphite leads for writing, drawing and sketching.
Leadholders occupy a different category from fine mechanical pencils. Rather than advancing a thin 0.5mm or 0.7mm lead, a leadholder holds a full 2mm diameter lead - the same diameter as a traditional wood-cased pencil - and advances it with a simple push-button clutch. The 2mm format is preferred by artists and technical drawers who like the expressiveness and variety of line the larger lead provides, and by students who find thin lead mechanical pencils too fragile. The 788 C is the student-quality Mars Technico with a straightforward design - metal barrel, push-button clutch, pocket clip. Accepts all standard 2mm Mars Carbon and Mars Lumograph leads in any grade from hard technical to soft sketching. Requires a 2mm lead pointer (such as the Mars Technico 502) to sharpen.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
