The Widest Mars micro, For Bold Lines And Shading

Staedtler Mars micro 775 09 is one 0.9 mm mechanical pencil, the broadest width in the range and the one that behaves most like a sharpened wooden pencil on the page.

A 0.9 mm lead covers ground quickly, so it suits loose sketching, shading, thumbnail layouts, labelling boxes and marking out on timber or card. Firm pressure suits this width, and Staedtler still fit the full Mars micro kit: a cushioned lead, a rigid metal lead sleeve that rides along rulers and templates, a non-slip rubber grip zone and a metal clip.

Its ISO coding ring is orange. Retract the sleeve to carry it in a pocket or pencil roll. Under the push-button is an eraser Staedtler list as PVC and latex free, with 77N R52 as its spare, and 0.9 mm refills such as Mars micro carbon 250 09-B keep it going.
