Yellow triplus Fineliner, Box of 10

Staedtler triplus fineliner 334-1 is the classic yellow of the range, and this box holds ten of them.

A yellow fineliner is mostly a colouring and drawing pen. On white paper it gives sunshine, sand, lemons and highlights in illustrations, and it fills small areas of colouring pages without the heavy look of a marker. For writing it is pale, so most people keep it for underlining, boxes and decoration rather than text.

Do not confuse it with 334-110, which Staedtler call bright yellow: that one is the warmer, more golden shade used in the current wallets, while 334-1 is the yellow in the tub of 12 and the box of 10 colours.

Every triplus is built on a triangular PP barrel with a superfine tip in a metal collar. Line width is approx. 0.3 mm by Staedtler's measure; the ink has a water base, is DRY SAFE in their terms, and is meant to wash out of most fabrics.
