Four Core Colours At Superfine Width

Staedtler 313 WP4 is a wallet of four Lumocolor permanent superfine pens in red, blue, green and black, each writing about 0.4 mm.

Four colours are enough for most fine coding systems: black for the record, red for faults, green for passed, blue for revisions. The superfine tip keeps that system usable on small things, such as microtubes, petri dish lids, electrical terminals, map overlays and labels inside a field notebook.

Staedtler sell the 313 as a universal pen for almost every surface, from overhead film and glass to metal, wood and plastic. Their permanent, low-odour ink dries in seconds and resists water and smudging on almost all of those surfaces. The black pen in the wallet carries the lightfast and weatherproof rating; the colours are better kept for indoor use. Every pen has a locked tip and DRY SAFE ink.

The hard clear wallet unfolds into a stand so the four pens sit upright on the bench. The pens are made in Germany, per Staedtler, and can be topped up with 487 17 refill pots, which come in exactly these four colours.
