Dotted thirds keep guide lines inside every writing line, which helps a student hold letter height steady as their writing gets smaller. At 9mm the spacing is tighter than the 14mm 103 and the 18mm 104, so this is the book for writers who have moved through the wider dotted rulings but still benefit from the guide.
