The book measures 272 x 360mm, which sits between A4 and A3. This gives a generous drawing area without the bulk of a full A3 book, making it practical for desk use and easy to carry between locations.

Pages are 110gsm acid-free cartridge paper. This weight is suitable for pencil, charcoal, conte and light ink washes. It is heavy enough to resist bleed-through under normal dry-media use.

The 110gsm cartridge paper can handle light watercolour washes, but it is not a dedicated watercolour paper. For heavy wet media or multiple wash layers, a watercolour-specific paper stock is recommended.

The book uses twin-wire (spiral) binding along the side edge. This allows pages to fold back completely flat, making it comfortable to draw across the full sheet without the binding getting in the way.

PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certification confirms the paper fibre is sourced from sustainably managed forests. It is a recognised international standard for responsible timber and paper sourcing.

The book contains 32 pages. All pages are blank white cartridge paper with no ruling, margins or perforations, giving a clean surface for freehand drawing and mixed-media work.
