Amethyst Spirit pairs soft aqua with swirling purple mandalas and a graceful line-drawn horse, a calm and dreamy look for kids who love horses and pastel colour.

Purple piping, a purple handle and purple zips frame the artwork, so the whole bag reads as one coordinated set. It is a gentle, pretty choice for primary school students who prefer soft tones to loud prints.

According to Spencil, the body gained 1cm in width. Either Spencil bento box, Big or Little, fits the Amethyst Spirit bag. There is space left for fruit or snacks. Its aluminium lining is food safe, per Spencil.

The lid hides a split mesh pocket. A zipped front pocket holds small extras. Dual zips open the main compartment wide. Its thick handle is padded for comfort. Pop a name card in the clear pocket. On the Amethyst Spirit bag, the chill pack slots into a rear pocket. An inside pocket holds Love Notes cards. Spencil make it from PVC coated polyester. The bag alone is approximately 230 grams.

The bundle adds Spencil's Big Chill Pack. A washable fabric cover wraps the pack. Spencil quote all-day cooling for school lunches. The gel itself is food safe, Spencil say. Spencil describe it as four aluminium layers of gel. In the freezer, leave it uncovered and flat. Re-cover it before it goes in the Amethyst Spirit bag. When needed, the mandala horse bag can go through a cold delicate wash alone.
