Air-drying compound that sets hard for carving and casting
Educational Colours Sculpt-It, supplier code EVSIT5, is an air-drying modelling compound in a 5kg classroom box that Educational Colours says sets hard in approximately 30 minutes.
Educational Colours describes Sculpt-It as a versatile compound for modelling, carving and casting. Students can build pieces by hand or pour it into a mould. Once dry, the brand says it can be shaped further by sawing, carving or sanding, which makes it suited to detailed work. Educational Colours states it is produced in Australia.
Fast setting means a modelling session and a carving session can happen close together. Finished pieces can be painted and decorated with acrylic paints, coloured markers and more, so a class can take a project from casting to colour. The 5kg classroom box covers group work.
Have moulds, carving tools and paint ready before you start. Find more in modelling clay, educational craft supplies, finishing colours in craft paints and the educational supplies range.
