Square Chrome Badge Reel with a 70cm Cord

The Rexel Premium Heavy Duty Badge Reel in chrome keeps a security pass or keys clipped on, with a cord that draws the pass out to a reader, and this listing is a pack of 12 reels for a team.

Rexel give it a chrome plated square finish, a metal clip on the reverse for clothing or a belt, and a snap hook for the pass or keys. The cord extends up to 70cm. Heavy duty is part of Rexel's product name and ACCO describe robust construction, but they publish no pull strength or load rating, so we quote neither.

A reel saves lifting a lanyard over the head at every door, because the pass is drawn to the reader and retracts again. The chrome square looks at home on a suit or a uniform, and buying 12 at once gives a department identical reels when a manager wants the whole team to match.

Rexel publish the Dual Security Pass Holder 9808901 as a holder that can be combined with a badge reel. For more reels and holders, see our retractable key holders, the badge reel and lanyard range and our card holders.

FAQs

Rexel publish a cord that extends up to 70cm. They do not publish a pull strength or a weight the reel is rated to carry.
It is part of Rexel's product name, and ACCO describe the reel's construction as robust. No load rating, pull force or cycle count is published, so we cannot say how many keys it will carry. If keys are the main use, the Rexel key holders with a key ring are also in our range.
This listing is a pack of 12 reels. Rexel's page describes a single reel, our photograph shows one reel in its retail blister card, and 12 is the quantity we sell 9800701 in.
Rexel say the reel comes with a snap hook, and the photograph shows a clear strap with a press stud below the chrome body. It suits a card or holder with a slot for that strap.
Rexel describe a metal clip on the reverse and a chrome plated square finish. They do not state what the body is made from, so we do not call it an all metal reel.
