Five Rolls Of Pre-Printed Best Before Stock

QuikStik Best Before labels are 23 x 16mm permanent labels with the words Best Before already printed on them, supplied as five rolls of 1,000 labels for the QuikStik Mark II double line date gun.

A date gun only earns its keep if the label stock matches the machine. The Mark II is a double line gun, so it prints two lines, and this stock is sized and pre-printed to suit that layout rather than the single line Mark I. Using the wrong roll jams the feed or throws the print off the label, which is the usual reason a gun gets abandoned in a drawer.

The words Best Before are already on the label, so the operator only keys the date. That removes a step at the bench and keeps the wording the same across everything that leaves the kitchen, the deli counter or the packing line. Five rolls of 1,000 gives 5,000 labels, which is a long run between reorders.
