A Straightforward First Fountain Pen

Parker 1931651 is the IM fountain pen in black lacquer with chrome coated trims and a stainless steel nib, a sensible, good-looking pen for anyone moving from ballpoints to their first fountain pen.

Its stainless steel nib, which Parker call responsive and personal, makes an easy start. This listing has a medium nib. The pen comes with a long blue QUINK ink cartridge, so there is no bottle to manage on day one.

Black lacquer with silver-tone chrome is the quietest IM finish and sits comfortably on any desk. Parker list the cap material as lacquer on brass and say the tapered IM shape feels naturally balanced in the hand.

When the first cartridge runs out, Parker long cartridges are the matching spare. See fountain pens, cartridges and inks, executive pens and all of Parker.
