MAX300 in Sahara, a Sand-Coloured Empty Case

Panaro's MAX300 Sahara is the mid-size watertight case in a sand tone, supplied empty for your own layout.

Sahara is a muted tan that sits well with outdoor, hunting and field kit, and it shows less dust than black. The empty interior, 300 x 225 x 132 mm, takes a custom insert, soft pouches or loose gear, and Panaro also make foam and divider versions of this case.

The shell is 336 x 300 x 148 mm and weighs 1.62 kg. A polymer O-ring seals the lid, which is 33 mm deep over a 99 mm base for 8.91 L of space. Nylon latches, full length hinges, an automatic pressure valve and extra fixing points complete it. Panaro make the MAX300 in Italy, and its test reports (IP67 sealing, STANAG 4280 / DEF STAN 81-41 environmental, MIL-STD-810H vibration and drop, ATA 300 Category 1 air transport) are free to download here.

Sahara is Panaro's name for a sandy tan shade. The photos are close, though every display renders colour a little differently.
