OKI C831 Drum Unit 30000 Pages Magenta

OKI Singapore and OKI Thailand list it for the C831n, OKI China for the C831dn and OKI Korea for the C811n. It is the magenta drum only; the yellow drum is 44844421, the black drum is 44844424 and cyan has its own drum.

OKI rates it at 30,000 pages on A4, one-sided, at an average of 3 pages per job. OKI's C831 manual says printing one page at a time reduces drum life by about half, and that the actual number may be halved again depending on printing conditions. It is a drum-life guideline, not an ISO toner yield.

OKI Australia files the C831 under discontinued printers, and its C831n page now lists only the fuser 44848805 and the transfer belt 44846204. OKI Singapore, Thailand, China and Korea list 44844422, but supply is limited and may end, so if you plan to keep the printer a spare drum is a sensible precaution.
