An A3 Wallet for Drawings That Will Not Fold Into a Folder

Marbig Slimpick code 4005501 is an A3 document wallet in printed manilla board, marine from the Brights colour set, with a 30mm expanding gusset and a name panel on the flap.

A3 output has nowhere obvious to live. Plans, elevations, set out drawings, marked up proofs and large format school work are all too big for a standard wallet and too few to justify a plan chest. A board wallet with a deep gusset carries a set of them flat between the drawing board and the site, which is usually all that is required.

Board takes a pen directly and gives the wallet a face you can write on, and the 30mm gusset means a set goes in without being split across two wallets. Marbig rate the wallet at 300 sheets. The name panel on the flap takes a job number in pen, which is how drawing sets are usually identified.

It is printed manilla board, not plastic. The Slimpick line is Marbig's board wallet, which is why it takes a pen directly. The Polypick wallets are the polypropylene line in the same catalogue, listed here under separate codes.
Marbig do not publish a board weight for code 4005501. Trade listings quote 230gsm, 280gsm and 285gsm for the same code, so the figures contradict one another and we have not chosen between them.
