The Inner Wrap Under The Honeycomb

Marbig Professional 50994 is a roll of white lining paper, 840 metres long and 300mm wide, used as the first layer against an item before honeycomb paper goes around it.

Honeycomb paper cushions, but its open mesh is not the surface you want pressed against polished timber, glass or a painted finish. A layer of smooth lining paper goes on first. The carton label puts it simply: protects delicate items from scratches, and use with honeycomb paper for extra protection.

At 840 metres the roll lasts a long time on a packing bench, and the 300mm width is enough to wrap small items fully or to band larger ones before the outer wrap. ACCO describe it as lightweight protection that adds little weight to a parcel.
