A cork base for Hammer-It pattern making
The Learning Can Be Fun Hammer-It Corkboard, supplier code CORKB8, is the cork board from the Hammer-It range that children hammer wooden shapes onto to create their own patterns.
In the Hammer-It activity, children choose wooden shapes and secure them onto the piece of cork with tacks, using a hammer. Learning Can Be Fun says the board is great for both playtime and the classroom. Learning Can Be Fun lists the Corkboard as one of the Hammer-It options, alongside shapes, tacks and full sets.
The board is the base for a child's own pattern, built up shape by shape. Learning Can Be Fun says the activity is a great way to improve fine motor skills, and it recommends Hammer-It for ages 4 and up.
Shapes, tacks and full sets are in the Learning Can Be Fun range. For more boards and hands on materials, browse cork boards, wooden craft supplies and educational craft supplies.
