A Six Wheel Automatic Numbering Machine for Sequential Records

The KW by Colby KW-201 is a self inking automatic numbering machine in chromed steel with six number wheels, seven actions and a drop cypher function, stamping numbers 6mm high.

Colby supplies each machine boxed with a starter bottle of ink, a wooden stylus and instructions. A convenient plunger lock allows quick setting of the number wheels, according to Colby. The ink pads, ink and clip are all replaceable: Colby lists KW201Ink refill ink, KW-220 felt pads and the KW-201-C clip as spare parts for the machine.

Stamping sequential numbers with a machine rather than by hand gives every invoice, docket, raffle ticket or legal exhibit a clear, uniform number. Because Colby sells the pads, ink and clip as spare parts, the machine can be kept in service as those parts wear instead of being replaced.
