Six Water-Based Marbling Colours for Patterned Paper

This paper marbling kit holds six bottles of water-based marbling colour from Boku-Undo, the Japanese maker whose name and Suminagashi marbling branding are printed on the box, for floating colour on water and lifting the pattern onto paper.

Boku-Undo lists this set as item 15620, Marbling 6 Colours, with a 12ml specification and a box measuring 168 x 29 x 98mm. It describes the colours as a water-based pigment liquid for marble dyeing, where the pattern comes from the free movement of the water and the user's own sense of design, and it notes that the colours can be mixed.

The photographs show the six bottles in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and a dark navy, which gives warm and cool colours for blending on the water. Because the water moves differently every time, each marbled sheet comes out with its own pattern, which suits a class where every student takes home a different print.

Pair the colours with paper from craft paper, and find more for the art room in educational craft supplies, classroom supplies and art and craft supplies for the next project.

FAQs

The box is printed with the Boku-Undo name and its Suminagashi marbling branding. Boku-Undo lists it as item 15620, Marbling 6 Colours, and the barcode on this listing matches the code Boku-Undo publishes.
Boku-Undo gives the specification as 12ml. Its listing does not say whether that figure is per bottle or for the whole set.
Yes. Boku-Undo states that the colours can be mixed, which gives more shades than the six in the box.
The photographs show the six bottles and the box only, and Boku-Undo's listing names only the colours. Paper is sold separately in the craft paper range.
