Economical Flat Hog Bristle Brush for Art Rooms
The Jasart Hog Bristle Series 579 Flat Paint Brush in size 8 is an economical artist brush made from pure soft Chinese hog bristle, sized for broad strokes and blocking in colour.
The flat head holds plenty of paint and lays down even, square-edged strokes for backgrounds, washes of colour and confident mark making. Hog bristle is naturally springy, which suits thicker paints such as acrylics and oils, and the seamless ferrule holds the bristles firmly in place through repeated washing and cleaning between lessons.
A long, clear polished wooden handle keeps the hand back from the canvas or easel. The brush measures 319mm long and weighs 21g, and it sits within the Series 579 range of flat sizes so a class can be stocked with matching brushes.
Browse more paint brushes, pair it with paints from painting supplies, add palettes and water pots from painting accessories, or explore the wider Jasart range for the art room and studio.
