A 2RU Jackson Power Distribution Unit for 19 Inch Racks
Jackson's pack calls the RAC1200 a rack mount power distribution unit, a black 2RU housing with 12 outlets, and Jackson's data sheet describes it as fitting a standard 19 inch rack cabinet.
Jackson's pack and data sheet both list surge protection, EMI and RFI filtration and a 1.8 metre lead with an IEC connection, and the sheet adds an IEC socket power inlet plus power on and earthed indicators, which appear as 2 labels on the front panel in our photo. The pack and data sheet print different joule figures, so we quote neither.
Jackson's data sheet notes that the sockets are spaced to allow for bulky plugpacks and that the unit sits recessed into the cabinet, so power bricks for switches, routers and audio gear can sit side by side. The sheet gives a 240VAC voltage rating and a 10A current.
Jackson's data sheet suggests it for server rooms and professional audio, with a full lifetime replacement warranty. Jackson's RAC0600 pack lists 6 outlets in 1RU. See our powerboards, more from Jackson and the wider technology range.
