Silicone Along Four Hundred and Seventy Millimetres
Fellowes publishes the grey Breyta keyboard wrist rest in silicone at 470mm by 60mm and 17.5mm high, with HEX Cushion Technology listed among its features.
Silicone is the material here, published by Fellowes. It is the third option on a desk that is usually offered gel or foam, and it behaves as its own thing under the wrist rather than as a version of either. Whether it suits is a matter of preference, so it is worth putting one on a desk before ordering a floor of them.
Grey is the tone for a floor that was not bought all at once. It reads as deliberate against a dark desktop and against a pale one, where black can look like a default. On a 470mm object that sits across the front of every keyboard, the tone does real work in how the desk reads.
The other four tones sit at computer wrist rests. Mouse pads with and without a rest built in are at office mouse pads. Full-desk working surfaces are at office desk mats, and trays and pen pots are at desk organisers.
