Set the Angle With Your Foot, Then Lock It or Let It Rock

The Fellowes Office Suites Adjustable Footrest 8032201 suits people who change their mind about foot position through the day: a silver control on the platform is worked with the foot to lock the tilt or release it to rock, so nobody has to crawl under the desk to adjust it.

Fellowes give three heights, 10.8, 12.7 and 14.6cm, on a platform of 44.5 x 33.4cm, with the tilt running up to about 30 degrees. Leave it unlocked and the platform rocks freely back and forth under your feet; lock it and it holds the angle you chose until you release it. The top has raised ribs either side for grip, and the black plastic unit weighs 1.91kg by Fellowes figures.

Fellowes include Microban in this footrest, which they say is there for an added level of product protection; they publish no test standard for it, so we say no more than that. Warranty is 5 years limited through Fellowes Australia; the picture-only set-up sheet can be downloaded below.
