Two People, One Binder: the Galaxy 500 Satellite System

The Galaxy 500 is Fellowes' heavy duty hand-operated comb binder for large offices, and its removable Satellite platform lets one person punch while another binds.

Lift the Satellite binding unit off the base and the punch stays free, so a deadline job of many copies can be shared between two people. The punch takes 28 sheets per pull on a full width handle, and the machine binds documents up to 500 sheets on combs as large as 51mm, the figure Fellowes give on the web and in the manual.

For accuracy there is a punch selector for A4 and A5 documents and a back margin adjustment for thicker documents, so holes sit further in on a fat report. The front access storage tray carries Fellowes' patented comb and document measure to pick the right comb size, and the chip tray bursts open when full instead of jamming the punch.

A starter kit for binding 20 documents is included, and Fellowes Australia list a 2 year warranty.
