Cord Free Sharpening Anywhere On The Desk
Esselte 49072 is a black battery-powered pencil sharpener: no cord and no power point needed, so it can sit on any desk, art table or classroom bench.
It runs on 4 x AA batteries, which are not included, so order them with it. ACCO describe a stainless steel cutting blade and include one spare replacement blade in the box, so a replacement is on hand when the first one dulls.
For safety, an auto-stop switch cuts the motor when the shavings tray is removed, and non-skid rubber feet hold it still while you sharpen. It has a single hole and a canister for the shavings.
ACCO do not list which pencil diameters it takes, so stick to standard round and hexagonal pencils. The box is printed Made in China.
