A cotton board primed for watercolour
Zart Watercolour Cotton Board 6 x 8 Inch, supplier code CB020, is a 100% cotton board from The Creative School Supply Company, pre-primed with white gesso for water-based paint.
The Creative School Supply Company says the white gesso on this board is specially formulated for water-based paint and water media. The supplier describes the cotton paper surface as durable, with excellent water absorbency and pigment lifting for washes and corrections. It lists the board as suitable for watercolours and acrylic paint.
The supplier notes a finer tooth than regular canvas board, which lets watercolour paint glide evenly across the surface with no beading. At 6 x 8 inch, the board gives a compact cotton surface for watercolour or acrylic work, primed and ready to paint.
Use the board with watercolour discs and soft taklon round brushes, and try the wooden painting panel for other media. Browse canvas boards, watercolour paints, art paper and canvas and Zart.
