Yes - the frame is fully removable. Lay the framed canvas face down and lift the canvas clear, giving you unobstructed access to all edges. When your painting is finished, reattach the frame using the pre-drilled screw holes and the included screws.

The triple Gesso-primed surface is compatible with oil paint, acrylic paint, spray paint, oil stick, and general drawing media. The acid-free priming helps preserve your work over time and prevents the canvas fibres from degrading under oil-based media.
