The solid black polypropylene surface accepts most adhesive labels, which is the recommended way to add names or subject details. Writing directly on the surface with standard pens may not adhere well, so a sticky label is the practical choice.

The polypropylene material is moisture-resistant, which helps protect book covers and spines from spills and everyday handling. It is not intended for full submersion but performs reliably under normal classroom and home use conditions.

This roll is a solid black opaque covering, which conceals the original book cover and gives a uniform, uncluttered appearance. Clear Contact rolls allow the original cover to show through. Both use the same self-adhesive polypropylene construction.
