A Single 300 Litre Laundry Cart That Folds Away
Compass 722496 is a collapsible laundry cart with one big 300 litre vinyl bag, for moving a large volume of linen or towels in a single trip and folding the frame flat against a wall afterwards.
The bag is durable vinyl and fastens to a strong steel frame with velcro. Weatherdon rate the cart to carry up to 100 kg; it rolls on 7.5 cm castors, two of them lockable, and weighs 12 kg itself. Open it is 84 cm long and 61 cm wide, and folded the width drops to 10 cm, which Weatherdon describe as a 75% reduction. The bag itself measures 69 L x 49 W x 69 H cm. Weatherdon also note that slight variation in product design may occur.
One deep bag suits bulk work: emptying a gym towel bin, clearing a function room of tablecloths or moving bedding from a whole corridor to the laundry chute. When the bag wears out, the 722496B replacement bag goes on with the same velcro fastening, so the frame keeps working.
For sorting into two loads, see the twin bag 722497. Browse cleaning carts, cleaning equipment and Compass.
