Columbia Cadet Lead Pencils Round HB Box of 20

These pencils are HB grade, the standard everyday grade. HB sits in the middle of the hardness scale - firm enough for clear, legible writing and soft enough for comfortable extended use on standard paper.

These are the round barrel version of the Columbia Cadet range. The round profile is popular with younger writers who find it easier to grip. Columbia also produces a hexagonal Cadet pencil if your preference is for the traditional shape.

Each box contains 20 pencils. This makes it practical for stocking a classroom set, a shared office supply drawer, or replenishing home stationery in one purchase.

The Columbia Cadet range is noted for clean sharpening and leads that do not crumble. You should get a consistent, sharp point with a standard sharpener without the lead snapping back into the barrel.

The Cadet range is a separate, value-focused line within the Columbia family. It shares the recognisable red barrel hue of the Copperplate range and is built to the same quality standard, but is positioned for a broader everyday audience including school and general office use.

Yes. The round barrel and HB grade make these pencils well suited to primary school children learning to write. They are also appropriate for secondary students and adults for general writing tasks.
