Cool Blue Acrylic for Large Classroom Painting Projects
Chromacryl Cool Blue in the 2 litre size suits schools that paint water, sky and cool shadows in quantity.
Its swatch shows a deep, cool blue with a violet undertone and paler streaks across the canvas grain. Cool Blue is a natural pick for rivers, rain, wintry scenes and the shaded side of a snowy hill. The bottle front reads Chromacryl with Est. 1965, and it is labelled medium bodied students acrylic. The bottle is a navy shade with a white cap and a handle moulded into the plastic.
A refill jug of blue saves cutting into small tubes every time a group starts a seascape. Teachers can hold it by the handle while topping up shared pots, then cap it again so the bulk supply sits ready on the shelf until the next lesson.
Before a seascape unit starts, line up classroom canvas boards and choose brushes for broad washes and detail. For everything else on the list, explore the wider art and craft supplies range.
