Deep Black Acrylic in a Bulk Bottle for the Whole School

Chromacryl Black comes in a 2 litre bottle for art rooms that get through dark paint quickly.

On the pack photo the swatch is a dense, inky black that shows a faint sheen where the brush dragged over canvas weave. Black is usually the first colour a teacher reaches for when outlining shapes, cutting silhouettes against a sky or knocking back a background. The bottle label reads Chromacryl, Est. 1965, and calls the paint medium bodied students acrylic, so it is pitched at the classroom rather than the gallery.

Buying black at this volume lets one jug restock several class sets of palettes across a term. A moulded handle on the shoulder gives a firm grip when you decant into smaller pots, and the white cap goes back on between lessons to keep the remainder ready for next week.

Keep the store cupboard in step with the full acrylic paint range, add brushes for every age group and stack up canvas boards for class projects before the next art block begins.

FAQs

One 2 litre bottle of Chromacryl Black, product code CC10210. The label also states the volume as 67.7 US fl oz.
No. The bottle is labelled as a students acrylic, so it is aimed at school and hobby work. Painters chasing a gallery finish usually choose a different paint.
In the swatch image it reads as near solid black, with the textured lower patch showing a slightly softer charcoal tone. Monitors vary, so use the photo as a guide only.
Primary and secondary art rooms where several classes paint each week. A single student is better served by one of the smaller Chromacryl containers.
