Atelier Interactive Paynes Grey, 250ml Studio Jar

This 250ml jar holds Atelier Interactive Paynes Grey, a dark blue-grey, close to navy-black that suits storm clouds, shadows and moody sea studies.

Its label reads Atelier, Interactive and Artists' Acrylic, then PAYNES GREY. The 250ml size suits painters working large with Paynes Grey, where small tubes of a slate-blue charcoal run out fast. A second photo brushes Paynes Grey out, showing a slate-blue charcoal that fades to a slate blue wash. The distributor lists Paynes Grey as Series 2, under Chroma code AI16040.

A ribbed black screw-top lid closes the Paynes Grey jar between sessions. A big brush can load a slate-blue charcoal straight from the wide mouth of the Paynes Grey jar. Painters working on rain-soaked streets and winter skies get a steady supply of a slate-blue charcoal from one container.
