Cobalt Blue Hue is a vivid royal blue for bright skies, sea, flowers and clean, cheerful colour.
Its swatch shows a strong royal blue that lifts to a lighter, brighter blue in thin strokes. The cobalt hue belongs to Atelier Free Flow Artists' Acrylic, Series 2. Cobalt Blue Hue is marked semi-transparent on its label. Kobaltblautönung, its German name, sits above pigment PB.29, PW.6, PB.15.3. Lightfastness for this vivid cobalt: ASTM 1, Woolscale 8:8:8. Order code AT11550.
A 60ml bottle of Cobalt Blue Hue is a good studio and travel size for bright skies, flowers and colour studies on small boards. Semi-transparent on the label, the cobalt hue sits between glaze and cover. This vivid cobalt makes a low-cost trial size at 60ml. Cobalt Blue Hue dispenses through a flip-top cap.
Cobalt Blue Hue buyers can browse acrylic colours. The cobalt hue suits acrylic mediums, while this royal blue pairs with art paper. Cobalt Blue Hue setups also use palettes.
