Brother TZe-263 Laminated Label Tape 36mm Blue on White

It fits four of the tools we stock: the PT-P900W, PT-E920BT, PT-P910BT and the PT-P950NW. It does not fit the PT-P700, PT-P710BT, PT-D610BT, PT-P750W or the PT-E560BTVP, which take 24mm at most. It does not fit the PT-D460BT or the PT-E310BTVP, which take 18mm at most. It does not fit the PT-H105, PT-D210, PT-P300BT or the PT-E110VP, which take 12mm at most.

Cassette width is a mechanical limit set by the bay and the print head, not a software setting. Only four of the fifteen tools we stock, the PT-P900W, PT-E920BT, PT-P910BT and PT-P950NW, have a bay deep enough to seat a 36mm cassette. If you need this width and run something smaller, the machine is the thing that has to change, not the tape.

Eight metres. Brother supplies 8 metres in every laminated TZe width from 6mm to 36mm, so a 36mm cassette holds the same length as a 12mm one and simply produces wider labels.

Yes. Brother's 478 hour accelerated UV test, roughly a year of outdoor exposure, shifted the white background by only 3.18 delta E and the print stayed legible. Thirty days fully immersed in water or 5 per cent salt solution had no effect either.

No. Brother describes the acrylic adhesive on laminated TZe tape as removable without leaving a sticky residue. If you need a label that cannot be lifted, this is not the right tape. The TZe-S strong adhesive range is the one to look at.

Not this one. Brother's UL file covers the strong adhesive, flexible ID and security TZe ranges. Standard laminated TZe, including this cassette, is not included. If a UL listing is a tender requirement, specify one of those three ranges instead.

Brother survival tested the laminated range from minus 80 to plus 150 degrees Celsius. That is a survival test rather than an operating rating, and Brother notes the laminate can separate or shrink under sustained heat. Brother publishes no dishwasher safe or freezer safe claim for TZe tape, so we do not make one.

South Australia, Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory are generally 3 to 12 business days.
