The Brother PUR-A0001 is a genuine replacement pick-up roller for the ADS-2100 and ADS-2600W document scanners, the wear part that draws each sheet off the stack and into the feed path.
The pick-up roller does the hardest mechanical work in a sheet-fed scanner. Every page that passes through the automatic document feeder is grabbed by this rubber roller, and after tens of thousands of sheets the surface glazes and loses grip. The symptoms are familiar: pages that fail to feed, double-feeds that swallow two sheets at once, skewed scans and rising jam counts on batches that used to run clean.
Replacing the pick-up roller is a routine maintenance job, not a service call. The part is user-replaceable, takes a few minutes, and restores the feed reliability the scanner had when it was new, which is far cheaper than replacing the machine or re-scanning a botched batch.
This is a genuine Brother part, moulded to the correct diameter and rubber compound for the ADS feed mechanism. Pair it with the matching SP-A0001 separation pad, or buy the PRK-A0001 kit if both wear parts are due at the same time.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
