Brother rates each of the three cartridges at up to 1,200 pages and does not publish a combined figure. That is sensible: almost nobody uses cyan, magenta and yellow at the same rate, so a single total would not describe any real print job.

Up to 1,200 pages is a declared figure from the ISO IEC 24711 inkjet test, used so cartridges can be compared fairly. Your own figure depends on coverage: pages with heavy colour blocks use more ink than pages with a coloured logo and black text.
